There are no hard-selling techniques here (once you meet Lauren, you'll know this really isn't our style).
We are here to create the most beautiful and sentimental portraits of your new little love to treasure for a lifetime. It is your choice to purchase whatever you like, in the capacity that matters most to you.

Answering your questions before booking
Q. When should I book?
We have very limited availability, many clients book shortly after their baby's first scan. Please pop us a message as soon as you can.
Q. How long does a session take?
We don't rush you and make sure you enjoy every moment of your time here! Newborn sessions take up to 4 hours to allow for all the feeding, soothing, and going at baby's pace.
Maternity: 1-1.5 hours
Newborn: 2-4 hours
Milestone: 1-1.5 hours
Cake Smash: 2-2.5 hours
Q. How can I make sure my baby has a great experience?
Upon booking, you will be sent a "session preparation" guide by post which has some tips and tricks you can try at home beforehand with baby. We take photographs of how your baby is on that day. Your experience with us will become a treasured memory, and above all, we want you all to all feel relaxed and comfortable.
Q. What if I feel self-conscious about breastfeeding?
If you have chosen to breastfeed your baby, it can be a worrying thought to feed "in public" in the beginning. Breastfeeding is totally normalised in our home studio (and also in our family, Lauren has breastfed all four of her children including twins), so please don't worry or feel anxious.
Q. I want my other children to be in the photos, but I'm afraid they won't want to join in?
As a mama of four little ones, I get it! Young Children can be unpredictable in a studio environment, so we suggest they come with you for the first hour of your session only, then have a relative take them off to do something fun while we continue your session. Our cosy studio is very small and will be very warm. Please do let us know you plan to include your child(ren) upon booking so we can plan your session around them and their ages.
Q. Will you edit out blemishes or anything else I don't want in my finished gallery?
The final images you view are professionally, lightly retouched and enhanced by hand to remove blemishes or marks that wouldn't normally be there (such as spots, scratches, marks or bruises)
Q. Do I have to buy photos separately?
We do not include any photos in your booking fee. The charge is for your session time only. This way, you have total freedom of which images to choose and purchase after your session with us. We have something on our pricelist to suit everyone (from digital downloads, through to top quality hand-made wall art).
Q. How much will I pay for images?
This depends on what you wish to take home. We have single image products, through to full galleries. Our collections are designed to include digitals, prints and wall art pieces with prices ranging from £85 and upwards for single products. Our Collections are heavily discounted at a premium, if you decide to choose one of those.
We take your memories very seriously and provide a high-class photography experience for you. Everything we offer is not something you could get on the highstreet.
There is no pressure at any point to buy any additional images at all, we leave the freedom in your hands and are here to assist you with the best way to preserve your memories.
Q. How many images will I view?
After your session, you will view around 15 - 20 fully retouched images to view at your Preview & Ordering appointment. We find our clients value that one "WOW" piece to hang on their wall and treasure for a lifetime, so each image you view will be designed as a centerpiece. We don't want to overwhelm you with too many similar shots.
Q. Can I share my images on facebook?
Many of our clients are excited to share their images with their facebook friends! After your session, we can post a "sneak peek" image to our Lemon Sky facebook page if you request we do so. This is one fully edited image you can tag yourself and the family in, which will then appear on your profile! (This image isn't for downloading or cropping).
Any images you have purchased, we will provide you with a set of watermarked "web size" images to share online alongside the high resolution digital images for print. These are perfectly sized to look lovely online and are watermarked for your protection as this stops your images being copied or stolen.
